It’s been more than 3 weeks that we’ve been away from “home”, and another 3 until we’re back. And although I’m loving being here in Germany, and I loved being in the UK and catching up with everybody, I am slowly starting to look forward to going back to California. It’s such a nice feeling to know that we’re done with all the bureaucracy, all those things to sort out, and can now really start enjoying our lives there. Funny how quickly a new place can grow on you… every time I’ve talked about our new life, I’ve liked it a bit more. It remains to be seen what I think in 6 months’ time!
